Beckham Jr. managed to avoid any type of trade scenarios and ultimately firmed a close-knit bond to the Giants’ new coach.
At one point this offseason it didn’t look as though this would be a given, as reports surfaced that the team was flirting with the idea of trading Beckham before the draft. However, he quickly formed a strong bond with new head coach Pat Shurmur, extending every olive branch to the team he could. In a season in which Julio Jones, Le’Veon Bell, Aaron Donald, and Khalil Mack have all held out, Beckham showed up to most of the OTAs and has done everything the Giants have asked. (Big Blue View)
