Bait Tactic By Drizzy?

When Drake sampled Kim Kardashian’s voice on his new single “Search & Rescue,” it prompted fans to take a second look at the single's cover art, which featured a mystery woman who looked too much like the former Mrs. West. Fans speculated if it was another jab at Kanye West.

The single cover Drizzy released on April 6 featured a close-up of himself in a motorcycle helmet next to a mystery woman later identified as London songstress, Lilah, not Kardashian, according to media reports.

However, fans took to social media to point out how Lilah looked too similar to Kim K’s  April 4 post on Instagram while in Tokyo, riding a go-kart.

Also on social media, fans think that Drake is trying to bait Kanye West into another rant with the aforementioned revaluation of Lilah.

The beef between the rappers goes back to as early as 2010 when Drake’s verse was cut from West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’s “All Of The Lights.” Things took new heights when Ye posted Drake’s address on social media.

By November 2021, the two artists allegedly squashed their beef after calling a truce when pictured together alongside, Mob Ties founder and CEO J. Prince. However, the “Search and Rescue” release seems like a jab at Ye.

In fact, despite taking a photo together, Drizzy claimed he only posed for the photo for the Mob Ties boss on the song, “Circo Loco” from Her Loss, the joint album with 21 Savage. In March 2021, rumors suggested Drake was dating the newly single Kim Kardashian.

However, the Canadian rapper quickly shut down the rumors by noting the “single life” was for him. By press time, Ye had not responded to Drizzy’s song.

Drake Adds More Dates To Tour

Though he gave fans a peek into his new track “Search and Rescue,” the Canadian rapper has also been busy setting up for his new tour. Drake added more shows to his  “It’s All A Blur” tour due to the high demand following his March 13 announcement.

Following the addition of the new dates, fans noted the high ticket prices.
