It’s been about 3 months since we got new Drake music. We heard ‘Signs‘ in June with the ‘Freak In You’ remix and ‘No Complaints‘. For the most part, he’s staying true to his promise on ‘Do Not Disturb’ that he’d be back in 2018 for the summary of this year. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get previews of new music in the meantime. Yesterday, Landon Collins’ posted a video on his IG story with some new Drake raps in the back. Heading into last weekend, Drake surprised fans by lyrically showing support for one-time rap foe Meek Mill on his “Family Feud” freestyle.
Weezy’s version of “Family Feud” features a long verse from Drake, which includes a demand for a salute from Donald Trump as well as support for Meek Mill. “I need my paper long, like a Milly verse/Too long, like a sentence from a Philly judge/Fuck is the point in all the beefing, when we really blood?” Drizzy raps. The initial version of D6, released on Christmas, did not contain “Family Feud.” However, Wayne let fans know there was another volume still to come. (Complex)
