Young Money rapper Drake has credited his mom for helping a signature Tom Ford lipstick collection sell out this week.
Drizzy reacted to the big news on Instagram Tuesday (December 15).
According to reports, Drizzy’s new lipstick sold out almost immediately after it went on sale.
Mere minutes after Net-a-Porter listed Tom Ford’s Drake lipstick on their site, it sold out—just like his “Hotline Bling” looks and his sneakers. As for other options, Tom Ford’s New York and Chicago boutiques confirmed via phone that they’re sold out, too, with no plans to restock. The beauty experts at Tom Ford are launching the second installment of the Lips & Boys collection, an extensive line of 50 lipsticks all named for significant men in Mr. Ford’s life, E! News has learned. The lipsticks, which fetch $52 a pop, will hit stores on Black Friday, meaning just in time to make the cut for any Drake or Jake fanatics on your holiday shopping list this year.
