Heading into the weekend, Drake shared a personal autographed note from President Obama.
Recently, Drizzy made headlines for allegedly firing verbal shots at President Donald Trump.
“For some reason in my room, they’ve got the TV set to CNN,” he said. “Every day I wake up, I see all this bullshit going on in the world. People trying to tear us apart, people trying to make us turn against each other. So tonight, my proudest moment isn’t selling tickets or having people sing my songs, my proudest moment. If you take a look around in this room, you’ll see people of all races and all places. And all we did tonight was pull inside this building, show love, celebrate life, more life, more music. And I just want you to understand if you think one man can tear this world apart, you’re out of your motherf*cking mind. It’s on us to keep this sh*t together. F*ck that man.”
Drake’s pal Kanye West is also reportedly not riding behind President Trump anymore.
Kanye West has scrubbed his Twitter account of all things Trump, and we’re told it’s because he’s super unhappy with the president’s performance over his first 2 weeks in office. Our sources say Kanye’s decision to remove the tweets were all his. The “Muslim ban” and other actions have turned him against the prez. (TMZ)
Last month, President Trump’s camp defended not inviting Kanye to his Washington, DC inauguration.
“We haven’t asked him,” he told CNN’s Erin Burnett on “OutFront.” “He considers himself a friend of the President-elect, but it’s not the venue. The venue we have for entertainment is filled out, it’s perfect, it’s going to be typically and traditionally American, and Kanye is a great guy but we just haven’t asked him to perform. We move on with our agenda.” (CNN)
