Young Money rapper Drake flexed his Apple Music muscle Friday (July 10) with the release of his exclusive “Energy” music video.
Drizzy channeled a few notable celebrities ranging from Justin Bieber to Kanye West and President Barack Obama in the new clip.
This thing’s a doozy: it features Drake playing a bunch of other celebrities and public figures, including Oprah, Justin Bieber (in his underwear ad getup), Miley Cyrus (in the “Wrecking Ball” video), Kanye West (in the “Bound 2” video), Rob Ford, LeBron James, and President Obama. The launch of Apple Music on June 30 will be marked by an exclusive Pharrell Williams single and an interview with Eminem on Beats 1 radio. In response to Tidal and the exclusive content it offers customers, Apple has announced that the Pharrell Williams single, Freedom, will only be available through the Apple Music streaming service. Today at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, the announcement was made that Apple has streamlined its music app to combine streaming, downloads, and radio all in one place.
