The soccer franchise FC Barcelona has announced that they will wear his classic OVO owl logo on their jerseys for their upcoming match on Sunday, October 16.
This follows after Drake became the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify.
Furthermore, the superstar rapper shared a picture on his Instagram holding up the jersey with a caption describing how he felt.
“To celebrate being the first artist with 50 billion streams on @Spotify @FCBarcelona will wear the OVO owl at ElClasico on Sunday. This doesn’t seem real. “
Drake is a big sports fan and bettor who plays basketball during his free time.
Another rapper that has also broken into soccer is Memphis rapper Yo Gotti, who became a co-owner of Major League soccer team D.C United.
Lil Baby To Perform At The FIFA World Cup
Atlanta rapper and award-winner Lil Baby will be on one of the world’s biggest stages as he will perform at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
On his Instagram, he teased a new theme song, dedicated to the event called “The World Is Yours To Take.”
The World Cup will take place from November 20 through December 18.
