OVO Sound boss Drake is bigger than just a Top 10 list. The 6 God has nearly 30 hit records on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 list.

Drake’s hits go from “Nice For What” topping the Hot 100 to his “March 14” holding down the 57th spot.

This week, buzz developed about the 6 God possibly gearing up for a new record deal.

Word is that Drake is at the end of his contractual obligations to the Young Money/Cash Money label — “Soon as this album drop I’m out of the deal,” he raps on the song “Is There More” — which is distributed through Universal Music Group’s Republic Records. And a well-placed source tells Variety that when Drake signs his next deal, he’ll have another release ready to drop to accompany the news — although a Universal source reveals that the artist is not leaving the label family any time soon.
