Young Money’s Drake is showing off his acting skills in a new, unexpected short film called “Jungle.”
The new clip features Drizzy cruising throughout a city and making various night life stops.
Drake has shared a short film titled Jungle on his website, which features his own intimate commentary about fame, lifestyle, and life in general. It begins with a long, dark car ride to an overlook of Los Angeles and proceeds from there. Featuring a score from frequent collaborator Noah “40” Shebib, it also includes snippets from what sounds like a pair of new songs. (Pitchfork)

OVO affiliate P. Reign recently confirmed buzz about a new Drake mixtape coming together.
“I know Drake’s dropping a mixtape that I’ve already heard a lot of and it’s crazy. I think it’s some of the best I’ve heard from him in my life and I already know off Drake’s mixtape the world is going to shake.” (Karen Civil)
During an interview a few months ago, Toronto Raptors star DeMar DeRozan referenced an untitled Drizzy release would arrive this winter.
“It’s incredible having that type of artist of his magnitude be able to support us the way he do because he definitely really do support us; it’s not just for show. He come in the locker room, [we] talk to him. I talked to him the other night. Actually, he said he wants to give me his mixtape that come out in January.” (NBC TV)
If the mixtape hype is true, it will be Drake’s first underground effort in five years.
Drake hasn’t done a mixtape since 2009′s So Far Gone, which was his breakout project, and earned him two Grammy nominations. Drake’s new album, Views From The 6, has already been announced and is certainly on the way, but could Drizzy be releasing a free project before that? Or was Derozan referring to VFT6, and using the term “mixtape” a little loosely? (The Source)
