Footage of Drake and Game's recent studio session has leaked online and shows cameos from Queen Latifah, Cool & Dre and more.
In the footage, Cool discussed what it was like to be surrounded by rap stars.
“Last night was a movie,” Cool says in the footage, “first of all, we’re here in [Los Angeles,] worked the Game and Drake session last night. Crazy. Gotta hear the record. We had everybody in the building. I’m talking about Waka Flocka came through. Shout-out to Waka Flocka. Queen Latifah came through. We had the whole Black Wall Street over there and the record is nuts…I don’t know the exact title of the record yet but just know that your man Drake came in and killed it. Game killed it. You know how we do, when we get together with Game, we make classic records man so I feel this is another one to add to the collection.” (Derik G)
Dre also talked about working on Game’s upcoming mixtape.
“The Hunt For R.E.D. October mixtape for Game’s new sh*t, that sh*t is sounding crazy,” Dre said later in the footage. “We did a joint earlier flipping some Biggie sh*t that he wanted us to do so f*cking around with this sh*t, we did a crazy record with him and Drake out there in LA — that was crazy. It’s called ‘Good Girl Bad Girl,’ it’s crazy because there was like a hundred motherf*ckeres that came to the studio that night. Queen Latifah came through and showed love — that R.E.D. Details on Game and Drake’s studio session landed online last month.
Cool & Dre were busy in the studio with The Game Wednesday, June 23rd recording a hot new track titled “Good Girl, Bad GirL” at Encore Studios in Burbank, California last week. Cool & Dre have 3 songs on the album titled “THE R.E.D. album.” The single will feature a verse by hip-hop recording star Drake. Queen Latifahstopped by to hang with the superstars while they were recorded. (Press Release)
Writing via Twitter in late June, Game revealed their Cool & Dre-produced track would be the second song on his upcoming album.
“In the studio wit the lil homie @drakkardnoir & @coolanddre n all I can say is R.E.D. album…….. Track #2,” he wrote. (Game’s Twitter)
