OVO Sound boss Drake no longer has to worry about the world knowing his impact on Ye. G.O.O.D. Music boss Kanye West has officially credited Drizzy with helping create the chart-topping release.
According to reports, new Ye credits reveal Drake’s involvement on the 7-track studio project.
Today, new names appeared on the credits for both of Kanye West’s new albums: ye and Kids See Ghosts with Kid Cudi. Drake has been revealed as a lyricist and composer on the ye song “Yikes.” There are 11 credited lyricists on “Yikes” in total, including Mike Dean, Ayub Ogada, and James Mbarack Achieng. (“Yikes” samples the 1976 Black Savage song “Kothbiro.”) Pie’rre Bourne and Apex Martin have been newly credited as producers. (Pitchfork)
Earlier this month, buzz developed about Drake possibly low-key helping Kanye with his “Yikes” anthem.
This week, Kanye reacted to landing his latest chart-dominating album release.
