Young Money’s Drake is strengthening his growing OVO Sound artist roster by signing new R&B crew dvsn this week.
Speculation of the new signing has lit up social media this week.
It appears as if Drake may have expanded his OVO Sound roster with the addition of dvsn. Noah “40” Shebib, Drake’s longtime collaborator and OVO Sound co-founder, shared a photo of the dvsn logo on Instagram with the caption, “@dvsndvsn @ovosound.” The logo is also black and gold, colors that have become synonymous with the October’s Very Own owl. What’s more, all of dvsn’s music is now listed under copyright through OVO Sound/Warner Bros on iTunes. This includes “Too Deep,” “The Line,” “With Me,” and “Hallucinations.” (Complex)

Media outlets are still trying to grasp who all maks up the R&B collective.
Big news! Except…wait, who’s dvsn again? No one knows. Perhaps fittingly it was The Weeknd (aka Drake’s The One Who Got Away) who truly generated off the “artist with the mysterious identity” wave that’s becoming so popular it’s frankly getting annoying. I know in the age of instant access there’s a real appeal in being hidden, but how about this? How about just releasing great music and being like, hey, it’s me, the one who made that great music? And is the whole “taking all the vowels out of words” trend yet? No? Sigh, fine. (DJ Booth)

If the signing is legit, dvsn has joined a roster which includes fellow R&B crew PARTYNEXTDOOR.
Mystery has surrounded dvsn for some time. Fans have speculated about the act in videos online and on Twitter. According to reports, dvsn could be comprised of Nineteen85, a Toronto producer who works with Drake, and Daniel Daley, a T-Dot singer. dvsn joins the OVO Sound roster, which currently includes PARTYNEXTDOOR, Roy Wood$, and Majid Jordan.
