Despite some new reports, fans will not see Breezy and Drizzy knuckle up in the near future.

RumorFix was shocked when we read this story, because we broke the story that Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman had offered the bad boys of rap an opportunity to box — and we have heard repeatedly that the rappers would not do it (although Chris told our camera guy “Yeah, I would.”) RumorFix reached out to both camps who tell us the report is false! When asked if Brown is participating in a boxing match, his rep said, “No. Never was. This is a sad attempt at PR for the people who were/are promoting it.” A source close to Drake also tells us, “The story is false!” (RumorFix)

Prior to updating its own coverage, media outlet Hollyscoop broke the news of a fight taking place.

They’ve been rumored to be fighting for the heart of Rihanna for months and there’s still no 100% clear winner. So Chris Brown and Drake are doing exactly what any red blooded American/Canadian boys (in the 1840s) would do: box it out. After several offers for an official match by Celebrity Boxing, Brown and Drake have agreed to punch it out during three one-minute rounds (such babies!) in 24 oz. gloves for a charity match at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas. The match is a carry over ‘grudge match’ from their brawl at the W.i.P nightclub in June. Tony Parker, who was hurt in the fight and is currently suing the club, is going to ref the match, which will go down on Saturday, September 22nd. (Hollyscoop)

A boxing promoter recently revealed plans to hire look-a-likes in place of Drizzy and Breezy

Although Chris Brown told RumorFix “Yeah, I would, I would” when asked if he would box Drake, there will be no fight between the pretty boy bad boys. But RumorFix has learned exclusively that promoter Damon Feldman will not disappoint fans, so he’s signed some look-a-likes to step in. The boxing promoter, who had offered the hip hop stars $5 million each to get in the ring, found celebrity doubles who are also avid fans. They will duke it out September 22 in Los Angeles. (RumorFix)

If the original fight had gone down, Feldman planned to offer NBA champion Tony Parker $500,000 to referee.

Celebrity Boxing’s Damon Feldman has already offered Brown and Drake $5 million each to fight in a three, 1-minute round boxing match. Now Feldman tell us he desperately wants Parker to get involved. “I am looking to have Tony be the referee; it’s a natural choice. We are willing to give Parker $500,000 and $500,000 to a charity of his choice if he takes the job.” Feldman is hoping for the fight to take place in October, but neither Drake or Brown have formally accepted the terms of the match.
