OVO Sound boss Drake is here for black excellence. The hip-hop superstar has come forward to applaud Donald Glover for winning big and making history at last night’s Emmy Awards.
Drizzy went to Instagram early Monday (September 18) to put some respect on Glover’s name.
Last night, Glover made history for landing two major Emmy awards for his hit “Atlanta” FX series.
Donald Glover made Emmys history on Sunday night. He won his first Emmy, for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, making him the first black director to ever win the category. Then, later in the evening, Glover took home his second award of the night for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. It’s been 32 years since a person of color won this award. (Buzz Feed)

Recently, Drake lit up social media to announce new music’s on deck.
At last month’s OVO Fest, Drake promised to bless fans with a joint The Weeknd album.
“I want you to understand what this is. First of all, I don’t want to do this to you on stage, but I feel like that OVOXO project has to happen at some point. I just want to say that.”
