The Who’s Who Rappers Listed As Potential Witnesses

A witness list was filed by Miami defense attorney Mauricio Paudilla, by order of Broward Circuit Judge Micahel Usan.

The rappers on the witness list include — chart-topping rapper Drake, Chicago rapper 600 Breezy; Tekashi 6ix9ine; and Migos members: Quavo, Offset and the late Takeoff, who passed away in November.

“They are high-profile people,” Padilla said to Usan on the relevance of the witness list. “And it’s not easy for me to subpoena. I don’t have numbers, but it doesn’t mean I won’t be able to. Trying to subpoena Drake is not easy–you need a drone.”

Justice For X

Four men have been arrested in connection with X’s murder since June 2018 — Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright and Robert Allen have all been charged for XXXTentacion’s murder. Williams was named as the driver of the SUV during the robbery.

Both Williams and Boatwright have also been identified as the gunmen. However, all three are awaiting their trial for armed robbery. Williams previously requested $10,000 for a private investigator after being indicted in 2018.

Allen was listed as one of the passengers and is facing a life sentence after pleading guilty in August with no plea deal. He is expected to testify against the other defendants.

The trial is set for Jan. 9 in Broward County, Fl.
