[With his new “NRG” anthem still buzzing online, New York rap veteran Drag-On speaks to SOHH about his run with Ruff Ryders and explained why the brand’s legacy will never die out.]
I love the Ruff Ryders. At the end of the day, we’re all still Ryde or Die. Those are the people that put me on the map. Without them, there wouldn’t be me, DMX or L-O-X.
I definitely want to give them a crazy big salute. Ruff Ryders literally came to my projects and got me out of it. That’s how I got signed.
Me? I don’t know any other CEO going to your projects other than Ruff Ryders.
Definitely respect to them. They definitely taught me a lot.
