Music mogul Dr. Dre‘s overnight Compton album reportedly debuted on the Billboard Top 100 chart at No. 2 with nearly 300,000 copies in week 1.

The Doc’s long-awaited new release fell behind singer Luke Bryant‘s Kill The Lights.

  1. I think record sales have gotten so bad lately that a lot of artists are releasing their products “spontaneously” as to not be disappointed if the albums don’t sell. I actually think that’s why Dre never released Detox. He put out some songs that didn’t have the necessary impact and got cold feet.
