Legendary rap producer Dr. Dre and his lawyers are hitting Georgia Representative Marjory Taylor Greene with a cease-and-desist for playing his 1999 song “Still D.R.E” for a promo video.

Dr. Dre, who also donated $10 million to a Compton high school, had his lawyers send Greene a letter for her using “Still D.R.E.” for a video celebrating Representative Kevin McCarthy for becoming the Speaker of the House.

The rapper-turned-businessman owns the right to the song and is suing Grene for using the song without his permission.

“I don’t license my music to politicians, especially someone as divisive and hateful as this one,”  Dr.Dre said in a statement to TMZ

Dr. Dre also explained he disapproved of using his song due to Greene’s past, expressed alt-right political views, and supported The Stop WOKE Act, which bans schools from discussing race and gender in schools in Florida.

On Greene’s Twitter page, she shared that she got locked out of her account for using Dr.Dre’s copyrighted work without his permission. Greene also captioned “The Next Episode” on her tweet, which is the name of Dre’s 1999 song featuring Snoop Dogg.

In a statement to TMZ, Greene said that she wouldn’t play Dr. Dre’s music due to lyrics about “violence towards women, police officers” and “glorification of drugs and crime.” Greene has also strongly supported police officers in her political career.
