Cash Money head Birdman isn’t sweating over his legal battle with Lil Wayne and apparently has an interest in putting some big bucks into rap veteran Ar-Ab‘s pockets.

This past weekend, Ar-Ab teased Instagram followers about a potential Baby business relationship coming together.

Recently, Lil Wayne shut down the idea of having a family-like bond with Baby.

“I’m 34 baby, I’m too old for friends. [We’re more life family?] No, his last name isn’t Carter, baby. He’s not family.” (Hip Hollywood)

A few days prior, Wayne likened his YMCMB woes to the Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh.

“It’s interesting. It’s interesting. It’s a perfect example of, that you aren’t bigger than the game. It’s a perfect example of that. You’re not bigger than the team and once you’re off the team, it’s not, we don’t care. Once you’re off the team, we don’t care. We’re still a team and we have to conduct ourselves as such, and we have to make the most for us. Reason being, I’m going through the same situation myself. So I know how it is. Everything I’ve done for them, they wouldn’t be them without me and, but I’m off the team so it’s, ‘screw him as long as we can, make sure we gonna screw him as much as we can, and when we can’t no more we’ll see what happens. That’s what it looks like they’re doing to Bosh” (“His & Hers”)

Earlier this month, Young Money president Cortez Bryant revealed initial plans for Wayne’s Tha Carter V album to come out for free-99.

“We had a deal cut with Google where they were going to back the album and put it out for free. When I presented it to Slim and Baby, they didn’t get it and the label was against it. They basically told me ‘Yo, we can’t put the album out.’ When I had to tell Wayne that, he was like ‘What? You can’t stop me, you can’t hold me back. I got to tell my fans because they don’t deserve this and I’m ’bout to air it out. Before I got off the phone to call his lawyer to let him know we was about to have some sh*t, TMZ was on the other line.” (Rap Radar)
