Former Murder Inc. rapper Ja Rule and Fyre Festival organizers have an uphill battle on deck. New details have emerged in a publicized $100 million lawsuit filed against people behind the disastrous event.

According to the latest reports, festival attendees were locked in an airport terminal with no way to leave courtesy of a chain-link fence.

Check out the pic … you see someone who works at the airport locking the doors as frustrated, exhausted passengers waited for a plane to take them back to the U.S. Mark Geragos, the lawyer who filed the case, tells us some of the passengers passed out from lack of water and the heat. (TMZ)

Yesterday, details surfaced on the massive Fyre Festival lawsuit.

Shortly thereafter, a class-action lawsuit representing attendees was filed against Ja Rule, co-founder Billy McFarland and Fyre Media, the company that runs Fyre Festival. Geragos & Geragos, a firm that has represented high-profile clients such as Chris Brown and Michael Jackson, is handling the case. (CNBC)

This past weekend, Rule’s rap rival 50 Cent clowned him over the festival nightmare.

Things turned ugly when headliners pulled out and the festival retreat did not live up to the hype.

Some of the headlining artists for Fyre Festival included Blink-182, G.O.O.D Music and Major Lazer. Instead of that amazing treasure hunt and some amazing performers, guests of the festival were greeted by leftover disaster relief shelters from Hurricane Matthew, the festival feeding their guests pieces of bread with cheese and even an unfinished concierge tent along with hardly any electricity.
