According to reports, K. Dot will be on-hand to deliver the first pitch in Cali later this month.

Barring any changes, the Dodgers will be facing off against the defending world champion San Francisco Giants on April 27.

The baseball team revealed the news with a bit of social media savvy: The Dodgers’ twitter account responded to a tweet of the rap star’s from a few days earlier promoting the release of his “King Kunta” video, posting a still of the new clip that shows Lamar wearing a Dodgers cap. Lamar’s new “King Kunta” music video premiered on a New York billboard this week.

Self-proclaimed King of New York Kendrick Lamar may have premiered his video for “King Kunta” in the middle of Times Square on Wednesday evening, but don’t be mistaken: The good kid’s mad city of choice is still Compton, Calif. That’s evident in the new clip, which features Kendrick and friends strolling through the So-Cal streets, dancing in a parking lot, and doing some ferocious rapping while mulling over a beer purchase at a bodega. Lamar hinted at the video premiere on social media April 1.
