Hollywood actor Donald Glover, who raps under the alias Childish Gambino, caught backlash from an Australia concert venue this week.
According to reports, disgruntled fans booed Gambino at the Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle, New South Wales Thursday (October 1).
Performing for more than an hour, Glover’s efforts did little to win over a crowd that had been chanting his name earlier in the evening. Four hours after eager fans queued through the venue in anticipation for the sold-out gig, many were asking for their money back and slamming a performance in which the headline act barely uttered a word for 40 minutes. The event’s venue also addressed the situation on Facebook yesterday (October 1).
Footage from the event and fans’ issues with Cambino have scattered across social media.

Childish Gambino booed at The Cambridge in Newcastle. Played a bunch of stuff off a mix-tape that 90 per cent of people didn't know.
