Off the forthcoming album “First Quarter” The Don Chief returns with a trapped out ode to spring break titled “Trap Phone” produced by The Product MG

Don Chief (also known as Big Chief) is a Texas-based rapper who found success in the late 2000s by prolifically self-releasing a series of albums under the title Eat Greedy. Chief began his career at a young age, pressing his first record, Exotic Games, at the age of 15 and eventually joining fellow Dallas native Mr. Pookie’s Stoney Creek Clique.

Operating first under the name Big Chief, he built his reputation with a steady stream of Eat Greedy volumes that showcased his laid-back vocal cadence and storytelling style. Before long, Chief’s singles were charting on Billboard bringing him national exposure. By 2016, he’d begun to record as Don Chief, delivering the LP The Return of Chief Lucas, which charted high on Billboard’s rap chart.
