DMX’s Last Single Was “We Up” Featuring Chris Webby

Before DMX made his transition, he left behind a body of work producer Swizz Beatz was able to craft into the posthumous album Exodus. According to Connecticut rapper Chris Webby, after Exodus, the last verse DMX recorded is on their single “We Up”

The track arrived with a visual directed by Rook that featured several members of the Ruff Ryders as a way to pay homage to the late rapper. DMX’s verse in the video was delivered through an animated pit bull wearing a Ruff Ryders chain, a borderline strange but sensical touch.

DMX’s Alleged Children Surface

After DMX’s death, alleged children of the late rapper began to come forward to claim their right to his estate.

A Georgia woman named Raven Barmer-Simmons contacted DMX’s other adult children in the past few weeks. She and 14 alleged children of the late rapper will all be DNA tested to confirm their paternity.

DMX Honored With Massive Mural

Additionally, DMX now has a mural in his hometown honoring him.

New York City painter and artist Floyd Simmons completed the massive mural near the public housing Earl Simmons – no relation between the two – grew up in. The beautifully done work stands over 30 feet high and pays great homage to X.
