Former Def Jam rapper DMX's representative has stepped forward to silence recent reports about the hip-hop veteran being arrested this month for dog-fighting.
Rep Domenick Nati denied the arrest reports and updated fans on what X has coming up.
“It is disappointing that Infossip chose to target DMX’s love for dogs for their own benefit. DMX was not arrested last weekend and does not take part in any dog fighting. We apologize to DMX’s fans for Infossip’s attempts at tainting X’s reputation with this false story. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their positive feedback of DMX’s appearance in Top Five and invite fans to see his next concert January 9th in St. Petersburg FL.” (Statement)

The initial report claimed X was arrested with seven other people.
South California – An investigation into organized dog fighting resulted in the arrests of 8 individuals including Earl Simmons, better known by stage name as rapper DMX. According to authorities, 102 pit bulls from which 39 were still puppies were seized from the rapper’s home by an animal control unit. (Infossip)
Outside of this situation, X’s representative previously hit up SOHH and spoke on Dark Man X becoming a viral wedding crasher celebrity.
“I’m happy that this video is circulating so well,” Domenick told SOHH via a statement. “This is the type of stuff X does all the time for his fans. This video is a great example of DMX being DMX.” (SOHH)
