G-Unit associate DJ Whoo Kid recently spoke on 50 Cent's new War Angel mixtape and hinted at why the rapper may be targeting Lil Wayne in his rhymes.
Speaking with radio personality Jenny Boom Boom, Whoo Kid explained what reasons Fif could have for going at Weezy.
“Somebody’s always gotta be buried,” Whoo Kid said referring to the mixtape’s ‘Prepare For Total Destruction’ cover warning. “I’m just gonna let everybody get ready. What you do is figure out who’s still relevant, who’s still rapping…It’s definitely not Eminem, but have your fans call up and think who we should bury. It’s kinda obvious. The fans know. Don’t spoil it for all the people out there, I mean, but you know Lil Wayne always cops a plea. He has his daddy, always calls up and talks for him states that Lil Wayne doesn’t have time for beef he’s more worried about money and pills and rock music. He’s not really worried about beef and stuff like that. And the chick that handles his weave, you know, he’s worried about his hair right now. Last year, Baby spoke on Wayne’s decision to ignore Fif’s diss records and focus on profits.
“We got money man,” Baby explained in an interview. “We on islands and jets f*cking h*es. We ain’t trippin’ off petty sh*t. We got money. Ain’t ever a dark day in my life, why won’t I go spend 250 right now, I’ll burn that b*tch…We just did a deal for a 100 mil, we got money for real. It ain’t no game. We ain’t got time for bullsh*t. We getting money man. We go to the studio that’s money, that’s like $20 million. When I hit your town they pay 250 just to say they saw us…We been through the wars, I got scars from wars. Get with that anytime, but lets get with this money sh*t, that’s what’s up…Me and my son are rich for real, that’s why I won’t entertain bullsh*t.” (SmackTube)
Fif previously spoke on his plans to release the new mixtape.
“I didn’t want to write ‘Angel Demon’,” 50 Cent said in an interview. “It’s not the contrast between good and bad. But…if someone’s at war, I’m sure they’re saying their prayers. They believe they have angels around them. What would you call an angel around a soldier at war? That’s why I titled it that…Creatively, this is not even a mixtape. That’s why I put LP next to it…My core audience will understand it immediately, and it’s written specifically for that…When you hear it, out of all the material I put on the street, you’re gonna say that’s the best body of work I put out in the mixtape circuit, period…I have two other tapes to follow it. Fourth of July, Sincerely Southside Part 2 coming out with mostly ’90s music on it…Then, after that, there’s a G-Unit mixtape. It’s actually untitled. Whoo Kid recently denied rumors about his beef with Nas.
“I respect Nas and all the sh*t he’s done,” Kid explained. “But personally, what he did to me was p*ssy. It was a p*ssy thing. But I was telling [Rick Ross’ baby’s mother] Tia that, but the [online video footage] kept that. He refused to come on my show because of 50 Cent and he told my boy that. And my boy, I had my boy, I could understand if your A&R is playing around with me like ‘I don’t want to come to your show blah blah blah’ but I had my boy personally go ask him and he personally said ‘Nah I can’t do it man, I just can’t do it.’ Well you know everybody on my show, I really wanted Nas on my show. I was with him even before the It Was Written and crap like, when he was beefing with Jay-Z I was there. I bought him the bean pie and all that stuff. If it wasn’t for that beef with Jay-Z, he would not be who he is today. That was the personal anger that I had to put out there. But other than that, I’m not dissing Nas.” (True Stories TV)
