According to Khaled, he plans to link with Cash Money/Young Money artists Drake and Nicki Minaj on the forthcoming LP.

“I definitely will have Drake on my album; definitely will have Nicki Minaj on there. I got something special I’m working with the team. You’re going to have all your favorite artists on there. Me collaborating with Cash Money — making amazing records and coming out with amazing songs. We’re going to give you a classic now. I can tell you I was in the studio the other day with Kanye West. I don’t want to give away too much information out there but know I’m working!” (VIBE)

Last September, Cash Money Records co-founder Baby discussed inking Khaled plus Cool & Dre to his label.

“We got Khaled, he just signed with us, I think he’s a hard worker, we work hard, and like I told him, we got a lot of sh*t to do,” Baby said in an interview. “We got a lot of things to do, but, Khaled’s gonna stand up and do what he do. And Cool & Dre, producers, I think they’re the hottest, they known for making hits, and, it was an honor to me. They really like family to me but at the end of the day, it’s a business and we’re about working hard and that’s what I expect from them. Grind it out, grind hard, that’s what YMCB [Young Money Cash Money] about. Hard work.” (Derick G News)

After Khaled’s last album, Victory, debuted at No. 14 on the Top 200 sales chart last March, the producer expressed his content with a statement.

“I’m so happy to have my fourth #1 independent album,” DJ Khaled said. “I’m so happy that my new single is on its way to be platinum and #1! Putting out four albums with incredible music is amazing! Shout out to all my fans and all the artist thank you for everything. I’m so excited about my single ‘All I Do Is Win,’ it’s the anthem for 2010! We the best!” (Statement)

The record earned its spot as the top debuting independent release the week it dropped.

Miami hip hop star DJ Khaled debuts at #1 this week on the Billboard Independent Chart with his E1 Music album Victory. The album sold almost 28,000 copies and was the #2 Rap Album (just behind Lil Wayne). Additionally, he has sold over 300,000 digital transactions from Victory. (Press Release)

A confirmed album release date has not yet been announced.
