Chicago’s Chance The Rapper has some major bragging rights courtesy of hitmaker DJ Khaled. The hip-hop star’s “I’m The One” collaboration is his first top-performing single of his career.
According to reports, Chance and his high-profile comrades now have the No. 1 anthem in the United States.
DJ Khaled’s latest single “I’m the One”—featuring Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, and Quavo from Migos—is the No. 1 song in America, as Billboard reports. The song sold 171,000 downloads and was streamed 53.9 million times. This marks not only Chance’s first No. 1 song, but his first entry in the Top 40 ever. “I’m the One” is set to appear on Khaled’s forthcoming album Grateful. He released his last album, Major Key, in 2016. (Pitchfork)
Chance made sure to jump on Twitter with his reaction to the milestone.
