Atlanta producers DJ Drama and Don Cannon have come forward to end recent speculation and buzz about rap newcomer Lil Uzi Vert signing to Wiz Khalifa‘s Taylor Gang.
Heading into the weekend, the hip-hop duo went to Twitter and shut down the Taylor Gang signing hype.
Earlier this month, Khalifa appeared to confirm buzz about Lil Uzi joining his star-studded Taylor Gang roster.

In October, Wiz made a boss move by securing an Atlantic Records distribution deal.
“Wiz is an amazingly talented artist, songwriter and entrepreneur,” said Atlantic Records Chairman/COO Julie Greenwald in a press release. “We’ve been so proud to have him as an Atlantic recording artist for the past six years, during which he also built Taylor Gang into a powerhouse hip-hop brand with a phenomenal fan following.” For his part, Wiz said he was “Very excited about the deal with the gang.” He continued, “These guys are my family and friends first, now we’re gonna take this this sh*t to the next level.” (The FADER)
