Music mogul Diddy has money to blow and then some. The hip-hop executive has continued to make headlines this week with buzz about his intent to buy the North Carolina Panthers and reports claim his net worth make this very realistic.

According to reports, Puff Daddy is close to reaching the $1 billion net worth status.

Born Sean John Combs on 4 November 1969 in Harlem, the 48-year-old has enjoyed nearly three decades in the music industry. With all of this taken into consideration, it’s no surprise Forbes reported his net worth of being a whopping $820 million (£610m) this year. If he does buy Carolina Panthers, this will only increase – especially if he builds it up and then sells it on. (Metro)

This week, West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle blasted news reporter Henry Wofford for ridiculing Puff Daddy for wanting to buy the Panthers.
