Kanye West posted an exchange he had with Diddy about his controversial “White Lives Matter” shirt he revealed earlier this week.
After Ye revealed the real reason he decided to sport a “White Live Matters” hoodie, a lot of heads were turned even from well-respected peers, like Diddy.
West made a text conversation between him and Diddy public, where the two apparently had a disagreement about the “Gold Digger” artist’s “White Lives Matter” fashion statement earlier this week.
Diddy said he wanted to meet with the Chicago rapper face-to-face before he replied:
“Fuck you, you fed.”
Diddy initially spoke highly of Ye earlier this week, referring to him as a “free thinker” when asked about his bold fashion statement on The Breakfast Club.
Diddy Supports Kanye West’s White Lives Matter Hoodie; Drake Co-Signs
Diddy has shared his take on many topics throughout his career. One of the latest he chimed in on is Kanye West’s latest controversial fashion statement that sparked buzz.
Diddy shared his two cents on Kanye West’s fashion statement during his YEEZY Season 9 presentation.
Kanye wore a hoodie that read “White Lives Matter” on the back, which stirred up controversy on social media.
The Bad Boy CEO, who highly respects Kanye, was recently on The Breakfast Club and spoke about Kanye’s latest design, which had many people riled up.
“My boy is a super free thinker, and a lot of times, what he means is misconstrued,” Diddy said.
In a series of posts on Instagram, Kanye defended his shirt. In one caption, he said he made the White Lives Matter shirt because “they do.”
Kanye’s former rival, Drake, liked one of the posts. Kanye acknowledged his former beef with Drake and thanked him in the caption for the support.
Diddy has supported both Kanye and Drake in the past, so the co-signs were appreciated on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Kanye is dealing with other problems in his personal life, including trouble with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. However, Kanye is not trying to be spiteful, as he hopes to end the feud with his ex-mother-in-law, Kris Jenner.
Aside from the controversy and personal life issues, it also appears Ye’s partnership with Adidas is currently under review.
Kanye West Debuts New Design For YEEZY Season 9
Kanye West made an interesting fashion statement in Paris debuting his YEEZY Season 9 collection.
The “Donda” rapper wore a shirt that said “White Lives Matter” on the back. The shirt was met with great controversy on social media.
Kanye already has issues with his other fashion partners, Adidas and Gap.
Many felt the shirt was not a shock because he has also said that Black History Month should be canceled.
