Diddy and Jermaine Dupri have finally agreed to do a hit-for-hit face-off battle in Atlanta, although there is no official date yet.

However, the music mogul told Dupri he’s ready to give him a run for his money:

“JD if you want that smoke, you can get that smoke anytime”

Diddy also talked about the battle in a different way amidst the Verzuz and Triller legal battle:

“I look forward to just be saying since we ain’t fucking with Verzuz because they fucking around with our boys, we don’t need to go up against each other, let’s come together and do that Bad Boy and So So Def battle in Atlanta, it ain’t no Verzuz, it’s just hit for hit.”

Fans on Twitter have already shared their two cents on who may come on top when the battle is sealed and done.

One user said Diddy will come out of the battle as the clear winner:

“Diddy is about to smoke this fool and dance on him.”

Another user said Jermaine Dupri will win based on the songs he produced with certain star artists:

“JD unloading the Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, Aaliyah, TLC, etc clips on Diddy’s head will sweet me.”

From the looks of fan reactions on social media, they are already hyped to see a battle between two legendary executive producers with many hits in their bags.

Diddy Snubs Jermaine Dupri For Dr. Dre

This potential match-up goes back to last year when Diddy thought the So So Def founder was not a worthy opponent for him.

Last year, Diddy was not feeling any pressure to lace up against veteran hitmaker Jermaine “JD” Dupri

The hip-hop icon has responded to the Southern producer reaching out to him for an epic Verzuz battle with their biggest hits facing off.
