Music mogul Diddy has explained the motivation and beauty behind releasing his new MMM album without a price tag on his 46th birthday today (November 4).
The new project, now available on Apple Music and Spotify, comes packed with collaborations from Styles P, Big Sean and King Los.
“This is free everywhere,” he said, “that’s the beauty about this project for an artist like myself and somebody that’s worked so hard to be successful and understand what’s going on right now and to embrace it and to learn so much.” Combs also announced that his next album, “No Way Out 2,” will be his final album when it is released next year. GOOD MORNING NYC!!!! Today is my birthday and I decided that all day I'm just going to walk around the city of New York and spend it with my people! Today is going to be a great day! Celebrate with me people! I give God all the glory for blessing me with another year!! #MMM COMES OUT TODAY!!!! I'm very excited! #letsgo
Earlier this year, Diddy updated fans on the status of his next solo album.
“Right now I’m just making music. I haven’t really decided if I’m putting out an album or a title. There’s a lot of things motivating it. One thing is your best body of work, which is No Way Out, and really channeling that. Like I said, I’m taking the backseat approach to being a producer and a platform, just as it was for The Lox, Ma$e and [Lil’] Kim and so on. That’s really what it is.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
