Bad Boy Entertainment head Diddy has stressed the importance of his upcoming Notorious B.I.G.-inspired reunion concert this week.
Diddy talked about his historic-based show going down in May on social media Wednesday (March 30).

PUFF DADDY & THE FAMILY will make their return to the stage for the “One Night Only” Bad Boy Family Reunion at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday, May 20th. Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, Lil’ Kim, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112, Mario Winans will come together to perform for Notorious B.I.G’s hometown audience, in celebration of what would be the rapper’s 44th birthday the following day. New York natives Mary J Blige and Jay Z will also grace the Brooklyn stage, joining the superstar lineup as special guests for this one night only celebration.
A few days ago, B.I.G.’s ex-wife Faith Evans talked about putting together their The King And I joint album and possibly performing alongside a Biggie hologram.
“Right now I’m actually recording this project, a duet project with me and Big, called The King And I. It’s something I’ve been thinking and doing for a while with [Big’s mom] Ms. Wallace – I’m in the finishing stages. I had no idea how I was going to even go about it but it’s been coming along pretty awesome. … If he were alive, we would have done something like this. … We’re actually in development with a hologram [company] but I don’t necessarily know to what extent I’m going to perform with it but I definitely want to debut it probably with the first video from the album and use it a little bit performance-wise and that depends on a lot of things. It’s expensive. … If this Bad Boy tour ever really happens, it might be something that really happens.”
Faith released a couple Instagram posts on the album title back in January.
