After reportedly not being invited to rap star Kanye West's big marriage proposal extravaganza earlier in the week, Kim Kardashian's father Bruce Jenner is expected to be present at the upcoming wedding.
According to reports, Kim K’s pops will walk her down the aisle when the big day arrives.

Kim considers Bruce to be her dad, and she always planned on having him give her away … just like he did when she married Kris Humphries. Sources tell us as far as Kim is concerned … it doesn’t matter what Bruce’s relationship is with Kris … she would never consider excluding Bruce from such a position of honor. So let’s review the irony. As TMZ first reported … Bruce was not invited to the surprise engagement — it’s still unclear whether Kanye or Kris made that decision — although it seems like it was Kris. One of the engagement night guests, filmmaker Joe Francis, admitted this week that Mr. West went to extremes to keep his high-profile proposal under wraps.
Kanye West planned his surprise marriage proposal like it was a spy-op, complete with cover stories and fake Instagramming — and Kim Kardashian was even blindfolded for maximum drama, attendee Joe Francis told the Daily News. “It was absolutely like a military operation. The ruse was so great, a real class act,” the “Girls Gone Wild” founder said Tuesday. “She was so shocked and so happy … everybody got choked up.” Francis and Kardashian have been friends for years, and he said all the guests were contacted three or four days in advance and sold the story that they were flying up to San Francisco for her surprise 33rd birthday party. Hours after the Internet exploded with reports of Ye popping the big question, Kim K publicly showcased her new ring to the masses.
Kim Kardashian posted a new photo on Instagram several minutes ago. The focus of the picture is her brand new engagement ring which she received from Kanye West last night. AT&T Park is in the background of the picture, as that’s where the engagement ceremony took place. Kim kept the caption simple: “YES!!!” No date set for the wedding just yet. Kanye is in the midst of his Yeezus tour with Kendrick Lamar, and will be performing tonight in San Jose. Kim accompanied him to the opening of the tour in Seattle, but no word on whether or not she will be coming to tonight’s show also. Kanye had Sunday off after the show in Vancouver got postponed due to technical issues. (Complex)
Despite having a few notable celebrity girlfriends in the past, Mr. West pointed out why he connected with Kim K more than any other previous lover earlier this week.
“I have never loved any girl other than my mother as much as I love my girlfriend and I’m so happy to be with her, for us to live this life together. And with our relationship with God to be able to live forever in heaven together, too. And also to raise a family, a strong family,” Kanye explained in an interview. “She’s been spending her whole check on clothes since she was 16, just like me.
