With French, when Rick Ross was making Self Made Vol. 1, he was like, “Yo, reach out to French,” and that’s around the time he had “Choppa Down” in the streets but he really wasn’t signed yet but buzzing.
I remember calling him up to the studio in New York and he came by and we made one of the first songs we ever made with Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Pill, that’s how that relationship started from there.
We’ve been riding out ever since.
