The 2012 Jamie Foxx-starring Quentin Tarantino flick is the ultimate, R-rated revenge movie you can’t help but love. A slave getting released and then taking out slave owners? This is a straight classic.

2. Kill Bill

This 2003 revenge-driven movie really cemented Uma Thurman as a top-tier actress and put an interesting twist to women kicking some serious a**. Another Quentin Tarantino action-packed thrill ride filled with martial arts and enough gore to keep you spilling popcorn.

3. V For Vendetta

Don’t let the smiley face mask fool you – V for Vendetta is pure awesomeness. Smart. Witty. And the twist ending will make you want to re-watch this 2006 flick it at least twice.

4. The Professional

The ultimate go-to revenge movie. Watching a young Natalie Portman relying on Jean Reno a.k.a. Léon to take out the drug dealers who murked her family? A 1994 thrill ride to say the least.
