Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds‘ wife Blake Lively has social media blazing this week after captioning a curvy picture “L.A. face with an Oakland booty” this week.
Lively’s Tuesday (May 17) Instagram post caption, which references rap vet Sir Mix-A-Lot, sent Internet users into a fury.
Social media exploded on Lively for her caption last night (May 17) into Wednesday.
Wait. Did Blake Lively really think it was okay to say this? The girl needs to start having her Instagrams screened. pic.twitter.com/qo3vzCejMm

Another day, another rich white woman using WOC's bodies as a punchline and commodity. As if Blake Lively wasn't the worst already.

I want to follow Blake Lively just to unfollow after this LA/Oakland business. So much privilege even GOOP feels uncomfortable.

Some followers lashed at Lively and even referenced her wedding day to Reynolds.
“As if getting married on a slave plantation wasn’t reason enough to hate her,” one upset follower noted, reminding the Gossip Girl alum of her 2012 wedding to husband Ryan Reynolds. The ceremony took place at South Carolina’s Boone Hall Plantation, an operation that once took advantage of slave labor pre–Civil War. (Us Weekly)
