Wishful Wednesday. It’s a day to start wishing, so why not wish away those Danity Kane beef rumors? Speaking of someone who is always in the rumors, Kim Kardashian decided to go on a big Twitter rant this week but didn’t feel any need to shut down any gossip. What looked like a rumor and has seemed to become a fact is Trinidad James getting dropped from Def Jam, but is that stopping his career? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. Say It Ain’t So

Are you still a Danity Kane fan? With them storming onto the scene, then breaking up and coming back togethere, there’s always been a ton of rumors surrounding them. With a nasty fight that allegedly went down now in the public eye, DK wanted to clear things up. Rap-Up has the info:

Earlier today, TMZ reported that a physical fight broke out between Dawn and Aubrey during a studio session in L.A. on Monday. Dawn allegedly hit Aubrey in the head with a closed fist.

Shannon was also present and tried unsuccessfully to break up the fight. Aubrey filed a battery report and cops were called in to investigate.

But all seems to be well again. Rap-Up has obtained a video of Aubrey and Shannon, which was recorded today, wishing Dawn happy birthday.

“We just want to say that we love you very much,” says Aubrey. “We’re DK3 sisters. We made it through the storm. We hope that you have a very beautiful new year of life.”

Following the departure of Aundrea Fimbres in June, the trio has been in the studio recording their comeback album, and they won’t let anything stop them. (Rap-Up)

Will anything else slow down DK? Are rumors going to surround them until this comeback album comes out? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

2. Weight A Minute

Is Kim Kardashian starting to turn into Kanye West? With Kanye you can always expect those rants and now it looks like Kim got very turnt up on Twitter. RumorFix has this covered:

Kim took to her Twitter to lament on her struggles with her current weight – even though she already dropped 50 pounds following the birth of her daughter North West

“Off to an intense workout. Can’t seem to shake this last 15-20 lbs of baby weight. No more excuses. My baby is one year old! UGH” the reality star declared. “I’m not gonna call it baby weight because that’s an excuse. I just gained weight & that’s it. Why is it so much harder to lose after baby though!!”

She then reached out to other mamas with the question “do any of you moms see their bodies just not the same? A different shape? Ughhhh my hips & butt are huge now! They were big to begin with!” (RumorFix)

Is Kim really complaining about her butt being big? Should we all shake our heads right about now? Does anyone really feel pity for KK? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

3. He’s Still Here

Has Trinidad James’ run in the music biz come to an end? After he announced no longer being on Def Jam, the world seemed shocked until we realized he really hadn’t had a huge buzz since “All Gold Everything” and a couple features. The FADER is up on his newest music:

Over the weekend, controversial rapper Trinidad James announced he was dropped from Def Jam after signing a lucrative deal in December 2012. In a since-deleted tweet he vents: I should tell yall. I got dropped by the Label. My Album is now free. If u hear ur beat or verse on it. I hope u want dap cuz i got no money. James’ run in the rap world was never met with open arms. He was a flamboyant Atlanta rapper that spoke against the rap holy land of New York City, and struggled move beyond the ever-increasing shadow of his viral hit “All Gold Everything”, which FADER premiered. Last night, he dropped “Doin’ Me,” a dismissal of those that claimed to help him win but secretly waited for him to lose. We’ve heard this kind of talk before: paranoid, spiteful rap about those who pray and pray for my downfall. But coming from a voice like James, who for better or worse became an industry scapegoat for the flood of viral rap stars that have dominated narratives and boardrooms over the past few years, those concerns ring too loud and is ripe with genuine emotions. As the rap industry continues to champion young black artists when they prove profitable and abandon them during tougher times, it sounds like Trinidad James will be better off with this chapter of his life closed. (The FADER)

Are you rocking with “Doin’ Me?” Is this a legit new track? Will this make Def Jam regret dropping him? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
