Moving Monday. We're moving all over the place today so why not get things started with D'Angelo moving a new album to the masses? Speaking of new stuff, is Kanye West putting out a new movie? The cameras were all rolling when Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan recently and 2 Chainz made sure to congratulate the Black Mamba. All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

It’s been years since we had anything new from D’Angelo but he has delivered much like Beyoncé last year. Rolling Stone is all over it:
It’s called Black Messiah, as was announced this past Friday, and it’s officially billed to “D’Angelo and the Vanguard.” But the small listening party — a joint effort between Red Bull Music Academy, which has helped keep D’Angelo in the news in recent years, RCA, his label, and the organizers behind the Afropunk music festival — revealed a full suite of information. The 12-track album was released digitally late Sunday night and features contributions from Questlove, Q-Tip, bassist Pino Palladino, drummer James Gadson and Parliament Funkadelic collaborator Kendra Foster (the latter credited as a co-writer on eight songs). 2. G.O.O.D. Movie
Is Kanye West getting ready to put a new movie out? With all of these Sony e-mails leaking, a ton of information is hitting the Internet. Check out what MTV scooped up:
“I supervise all of Kanye’s film and media projects, and we have a major film project coming up that involves both cinematic and technological innovation, so I naturally thought Sony and wanted to reach out,” Elon Rutberg, the creative director of Yeezy’s DONDA, wrote to Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal on August 4, according to The Daily Beast. There’s no telling how much more Kobe Bryant has left in the tank but he proved his greatness a few days ago by passing Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring leaders list. 2 Chainz’s Twitter account tells all:
