Former Roc-A-Fella Records co-owner Damon “Dame” Dash has reportedly named music stars Kanye West and Mariah Carey in a high-profile lawsuit against movie director Lee Daniels.

According to reports, Dash filed a complaint and name-dropped both musicians in Manhattan Supreme Court Monday (September 22).

“There are pretty notable potential witnesses there,” said his lawyer Natraj Bhushan. Dash mentioned the renowned rapper and pop diva among those who can boost his assertion that he was cheated out of investments to numerous flicks, including the hit movies “Precious,” “The Butler” and “The Paperboy.” (NY Daily News)

Summer reports revealed Dash accused Daniels of owing him credits on a handful of films.

Damon Dash, the music mogul who blew through a $50 million fortune and is reported to be deeply in debt, is suing Hollywood director Lee Daniels for $25 million. Dame recently dished out his interest in working with ex-business partner Jay Z for a 20th anniversary tour.
