New Orleans rapper Curren$y has come clean on being a no-show for Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose's publicized wedding with a very smokey excuse.
Approached by paparazzi this week, Curren$y said he was too high to make it out to the special occasion.
They say weed can make you forget things … like when your REALLY good friend is getting married — just ask rapper Curren$y who blew off Wiz Khalifa’s nuptials because he was too baked. Curren$y — a huuuge rapper who’s worked with everyone from Snoop to Lil Wayne, Master P and, most famously, his close friend Wiz Khalifa — was in NY for a hip hop awards show when he dropped a truth bomb about why he wasn’t around when Wiz tied the knot with Amber Rose. “We were totally like baked and I totally just smoked off my appearance,” Curren$y said … adding, “But he knows it’s love and we definitely spoke and it’s all good.” If anyone would understand, it’s Wiz … who’s equally passionate about the green stuff. The couple were officially hitched in Khalifa’s Pittsburgh hometown Sunday (August 18).
Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have made it official, again. The two wed during a ceremony that took place today (August 18) in Pittsburgh, PA. The couple has been legally married since July, but announced they would have an official wedding ceremony in the Fall. We guess things couldn’t wait until then. Amber Rose was spotted having some fun the night before her wedding day in a twerking video she posted on her Instagram Sunday. The 29-year-old model/socialite will reportedly wed fiance Wiz Khalifa on August 18. Early Sunday morning, Rose uploaded a Instavideo in which she was wore a white dress and was doing the infamouse twerk dance. “Only bad b***** twerk the night before their wedding,” she captioned the short video. Rose and Khalifa got engaged March last year. At the time, the rapper announced the engagement via Twitter, writing, “She Said Yes!!!” and included a pic of his Rose’s hand flashing the flashy diamond engagement ring. The couple welcomed their first son Sebastian in February and officially got married July 8. “Me and Amber got married today. Weddings this fall. Thought I’d let yall know,” Khalifa tweeted. Though the wedding was scheduled for the fall, looks like the couple decided to get married sooner than later. (Enstarz)

Khalifa added that they plan to throw a bigger celebration later this year. “Wedding’s this fall,” he said. “Thought I’d let y’all know.” Rose, 29, also tweeted about their union, writing, “Yay me & my Baby are officially married!!!” Khalifa and the model have been together since early 2011 and became engaged in March 2012.
