  1. I mentioned that to a couple of people. No LL, Slick Rick, Public Enemy that’s insane. Those are the only people I can think of that are missing tho.

  2. Maybe because all of the above bad mouthed the company on the way out the door??

We all just gonna act like we forgot about that huh??? Like it isn’t easy enough to find legitimate reasons to hate on that POS company, we gotta make a few up just for good measure??

I got a comparison……. You start a company……. Through the first 30 years, you have several employees that you have to either fire or whom quit for multiple reasons………. Then your companies 30th anniversary dinner or party or whatever comes up later down the line……. Do you think your gonna hit up everybody you gave a pink slip or whom walked out the door on you for an invite??

LL through a fit about his last few albums flopping over there (had to be the company right, couldn’t be because they just sucked) and had to be drug out kicking and screaming…… And Public Enemy I love to death but Chuck been badmouthing them for decades, probably wouldn’t have went even if they did call him.

Even a broken clock right twice a day, I wouldn’t have them there either.

    • Russell sold Def Jam. Def Jam we know today hasn’t been around for 30 yrs. they are piggy banking off of Russell Def Jam history. they are exploited it for more money

      • True that. I will say once Lyor and Kevin Liles left tho it was officially over. The LA Reid era totally ruined the label.

  3. That’s exactly like asking why K-Mart doesn’t pay respect to K-Tel, Cabbage Patch, or any other shit they sold a long time ago – you fucking idiots thinking that these are ‘relationships’ – they are business arrangements – no one owes anyone anything other than what they got. Get the fuck over it.
