G-Unit head 50 Cent found himself in a sticky situation this week after being stopped by police and clowned about his now-infamous pitch at CitiField. #Damn50
According to Fif, a local cop felt no shame in bringing up his pre-Mets game throw.
“That was Curtis that did that. See, I’m trying to get Curtis to be more like 50 Cent. … You know what, I actually got pulled over by New York City police. They pulled me over in my car. He pulled me over and I said, ‘I got my license,’ right, because I was a little nervous. As soon as he pulled me over, I was like, ‘Uh-oh. What’d I do?’ And then, he said, ‘You know that pitch was terrible.’ He didn’t give me a ticket, no thing. He said, ‘Just go ahead. I don’t want to mess up your day because you made me laugh.'” (“Good Morning America”)
Fif posted videos and addressed his headline-generating pitch earlier this week.
“I’m a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO #smsaudio #animalambition,” Fif captioned behind home plate.

Local New York media outlets took note of Fif’s throwing arm Tuesday (May 27).

Later on, 50 said the bad pitch was actually the work of his alter ego — birth name Curtis Jackson. “50 Cent is the best,” he told SNY reporter Kevin Burkhardt during an interview in the fourth inning. “Curtis Jackson, I don’t know what’s the matter with him.” (NY Daily News)
