Our brand is run silently by ninjahs based in Chicago, USA and not by some big corporation. It’s an organic thing that kind of started. It didn’t have this big backing. It was based off of people’s ideas and support from our friends. We’re fortunate to be around creative people in Chicago.

Reason 2: Designs W/ Deeper Meaning
Each sock has a story, a history, a lesson, that respects an authentic culture and an appreciation for a higher level of visual aesthetics. We’re selling a product but we’re not just selling it to sell it. It has more of an essence to it, more of a meaning. Our Cam’ron line came from watching ‘Killa Season’ at the time. The Flu Game socks probably came from watching the NBA Finals or someone around us. That actually came from one of my friends. He’s a huge Bulls fan and we grew up watching the Bulls. Chicago Bulls. We’re really familiar with the game. It’s a huge part of the culture.

Reason 3: Innovation
We were the first ones to take socks to another level with our design choices and visuals. Now, we see the larger sock companies lurking our site to see what we’re coming out with next. No one was really doing the sort of things we were doing when we were doing it. There’s all sorts of people doing socks and you can argue about who did this or that first. I think that’s part of the innovation aspect behind it. We kind of flipped it like no one else.

Reason 4: Quality & Customer Service
Each sock, mug and candle is individually handcrafted with our customers’ style and comfort in mind. We definitely customized. It’s a fun way to be in-tune with your friends or other people that are doing stuff that’s crazy. There’s all sorts of things that inspire me. If we can create and connect with that, it’s a big thing to do. It’s fun.

Reason 5: Variety
Whether it’s our Flu Game or Shenron pairs, Door Test mug, or Saint Cam candle, there’s something on our site that will strike a nerve with nearly anybody. We all have different contributions and backgrounds and when all those come together, you have a nice variety. You’re bringing something else to the table. Someone is bringing something else to the table.
