MMA champion Conor McGregor is not letting off his intent to lace up some gloves and face-off against fellow fighter Nate Diaz in Ultimate Fighting Championship 200.
McGregor called out the company with an Instagram post this past weekend.
Recent reports claimed Conor and the UFC had not come to terms with the highly-anticipated UFC 200 fight card.
UFC officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment but later issued a statement that said simply, “The tweet is not accurate.” UFC president Dana White told TMZ Sports on Monday, “We haven’t talked to Conor or his manager since the press conference. I don’t know why he would tweet that.” (ESPN)
Conor sent joy to UFC fans after announcing his return to headlining the fight card 200 last week.
McGregor penned a lengthy Facebook post about his current status and displeasure in having to trade training for promoting UFC 200 match last month.
Ok no more games.
