UFC superstar Conor McGregor might have to wait months before possibly facing off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the octagon. However, the Irish fighter has found at least one area he has the edge over Mayweather in.
McGregor jumped on Instagram this week to reveal he holds the title as last year’s most Googled athlete in the United States.
Conor McGregor (@thenotoriousmma) was the most Googled athlete in the United States throughout 2017 after a record breaking year. Following The Notorious at number one, the list includes titans of some of America's biggest sports, from the NBA to the NFL, with LeBron James, Tom Brady, Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving making up the rest of the top five. Not bad for a kid from Dublin 🇮🇪. . . #themaclife #conormcgregor #google #numberone
A couple nights ago, Conor trolled Money Mayweather with a shot from their summer 2017 boxing fight.
Last week, Mayweather Jr. trolled McGregor with some social media posts of himself in an MMA setting.
Throughout the week, Mayweather has continued to troll McGregor on IG.
