R&B singers Ciara and Rihanna have both lashed out at music network MTV for taking a shot at them on social media last night (May 22).
Rihanna struck first by responding to a Twitter remark about Billboard Music Awards co-host Ciara not wanting to say her name during the broadcast.
Shortly after RiRi, Ciara went at the network with a few Twitter responses.
Rihanna stole the show last night with a jaw-dropping performance.
Rihanna has silenced each and every one of her critics. The songstress – famed for hits such as Umbrella – left her haters struggling to find fault when she performed at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. Hitting the stage in front of a star-studded audience, the singer wowed as she completed a rendition of her song Love on the Brain. (The Mirror)
Back in 2011, Ciara and Rihanna went at each other’s necks on Twitter following a brief run-in.
Soon after Ciara dared speak her name, Rihanna took to her Twitter account to strike back brand-new rival … in less than 140 characters. “My bad, Ci, did I forget to tip you,” Rihanna wrote, including the hashtag #howrudeofme for extra spite. Of course, that earned a response from Ciara, who wrote, “Trust me, Rihanna, you don’t want to see me on or off the stage.”
