R&B singer Ciara is taking a break from her legal war with ex-fiancé Future and putting the attention all on their son this week.
CiCi celebrated her son’s born day on Instagram early Thursday (May 19).
Future reportedly won joint custody of their son earlier in the week.
Sources connected to the former couple say Ciara showed up in court asking for sole custody of their 1-year-old son, baby Future. She claimed Future was a bad parent who was not present in the child’s life. We’re told she and her lawyer also trash talked Future to the judge, saying he was a bad person. For his part, Future showed up and asked for joint custody, and the judge was squarely on his side, rejecting her arguments. (TMZ)
Initial reports claimed CiCi and Future appeared in court this week to address a defamation case.
As you know, Ciara sued Future for $15 million for publicly trashing her and he filed a countersuit. According to sources, things are still very much in-progress — but whatever went down today led to Future deleting the tweets that started it all. Interestingly enough, deleting those tweets is part of what Ciara wanted in the first place. (Love B Scott)
