R&B singer Christina Milian has reacted to news about country crooner Jason Aldean dressing up in blackface as her ex-boyfriend Lil Wayne for Halloween last month.
Approached by paparazzi this week, Milian downplayed the controversy.
“I heard about it,” Milian said when asked about the controversy. “[Should he be ashamed about it?] No, he’s admired by a lot of people.” (TMZ)
According to his representative, Aldean dressed up as rap star Lil Wayne for this Halloween.
The picture, which was first posted by the website NashvilleGab.com, showed him dressed up in sunglasses, long dreadlocks and gold jewelry. Tyne Parrish, his publicist, said in an email on Tuesday (Nov. 10) that Aldean “dressed as rapper Lil Wayne for Halloween,” but no other statement or explanation was provided. (Billboard)
